VILLAGE OF CROSS PLAINS, Wis.– The Village of Cross Plains is celebrating the start of fishing season with the return of its annual Trout Days.
“It’s a community event to open Trout Days and gather as a community to support that and other natural resources,” Chair Kevin Engelien said.
COVID-19 canceled the event last year, which is why Engelien said it’s good to see people return to the creek for music and fun.
Local businesses across Main Street, like Montag’s Pub and Grill, are feeling positive effects from the celebration after a hard year.
