For the first time ever, aircraft carriers INS Vikrant and INS Vikramaditya will jointly take part in a major naval exercise in the country. Multilateral exercise Milan-2024, to be held from Feb 19 to 27, will see Vikrant, India’s first indigenous aircraft carrier, and Vikramaditya slice through the blue waters of Bay of Bengal off the coast of Visakhapatnam. ....
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav flagged off five trucks carrying 500,000 laddus from Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain to Ayodhya for the consecration of the Ram temple. Yadav mentioned that the previous temple in Ayodhya was built by Emperor Vikramaditya and expressed disappointment at opposition leaders who declined the invite for the consecration ceremony. The trucks, shaped like chariots and adorned with pictures of Lord Ram, were waved off by Yadav and his cabinet colleagues. The laddus, weighing 50 gm each, were prepared over five days by temple staffers and people from social organizations. ....
