Least, you know, not guys with viking hats, you know, bare-chested, running into the capitol, but calling for packing the supreme court, calling for abolishing the senate, and, frankly, doing the same thing the same justifications that i saw from some members of my party after the riots last summer. they say, well, why is it so bad that we stormed the capitol? you know, they were the ones burning down these cities, this sense of riot envy. now we have this delegitimizing envy where, again, it is creating a reciprocal reaction. i think this is all incredibly dangerous. i think the threat of violence is probably more pronounced on the right today, but that does not mean the left is not capable as well, and that is what we need to cease. we need to cease this opportunity that has been grabbed at to expand the field of contest and the field of play where instead of working within institutions, we seek to destroy and delegitimize the institutions themselves. can the republican party sur ....

Trump stinking up the White House with Kentucky Fried Chicken, McDonald’s takeout, and Count Jared Kushner. No more thinking about Melania Trump laying pipe in the presidential bathroom, grunting and straining while grimly muttering “Be best, Slovenian Sphinx, be best”. The year 2021 was supposed to mark the end of COVID-19, the return of travel and happy hours on the shores of Cabo, and the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney Word. Instead, we’ve got organic-foodies in Viking Hats and B-grade metal musicians pillaging the U.S. Capital. Diaper Donald still unclear on the reality that he lost the election. And Eric Trump still refusing to close his mouth when breathing, sleeping, swimming, or sitting downwind from Rudy Giuliani. ....

There s the picture of four bullet holes in the glass of the door leading to the House steps, and the one of an insurrectionist with his feet propped on Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi s desk. And then there s an image as perplexing as it is disturbing, of a man with his face painted with stars and stripes, a horned helmet made of fur pelts on his head, his bare chest and arms displaying Norse-symbol tattoos. In the photo, he stands at the dais on the Senate floor, a spear in his left hand, to which he has affixed an American flag. Where s Pence, show yourself! he boomed from the seat that the Vice President had occupied just moments earlier. ....
