I m robert gray. now back to justice with judge jeanine. judge jeanine: president trump traveling to flood-ravaged houston as well as lake charles, louisiana. so many families and community facing dire conditions. hello, rick. reporter: we are in a grocery store parking lot that served as an evacuation center for people who were flood out of their homes. there was a flood of activity, established by volunteers but staffed by members of the louisiana national guard. the volunteers were sent home because there is a curfew in effect in vidor because of issues with looters. ....
we are invited, texas. this community got a year s worth worth of rain in four days. to put that in perspective, which runs adjacent to vidor, the previous record was 13 feet. it hit today at 21 feet. if you are seeing it on main street here in town. the rescue efforts are wrapping up for the day. there s a curfew in about a half hour. you can see all that water on main street, this is a very difficult to rescue situation. there are dry patches beyond that water. you go through that water on a boat, you get to the other side, there s dry land. beyond that, a mile or so down the road, there s more flooded areas. fewer back beyond that, more dryland and flooded land. we were on a high water vehicle towing a boat, it would bring a boat through one flood area to the next flood area and then the next one and then they would go ....

Out and do their rescues. they d pick people up. they would have to tow them back through. the boats can t go all the way through from here to there. we saw a lot of resources being deployed including monster trucks, high vehicles that were perhaps 6 feet of clearance off the ground. they were able to get through the high waters to get into the areas where people needed to be picked up. there were airboats in there. duck boats, the cajun navy summary volunteers doing such hard work. they have never seen anything like what they are seeing here in vidor today. we saw a rescue that involved a family with six dogs. two cats. they had to leave the chickens behind but all those animals got out with that high water vehicle. we drove out with them earlier today. getting to this town and out of this town is very difficult because the major east-west interstate, i-10 is shut down ....
