Students in the Greater Victoria School District staged their second rally of the week Friday at the Greater Victoria School District offices to protest cuts to music programs, including elimination of elementary-school strings.
The initial plan was to sell 1.9 acres, but that was dropped to 1.28 acres after discussions between the board and the hospice society, with the remainder left for Bowker Creek improvements.
