Will face. No one was hurt. Burglary suspect is dead after a gun battle with a Business Owner in richmond. 71yearold owner was carried out on a stretcher. Police say he tried to defend himself when four men broke into the building where he lives on 13th and coalinga. It happened about 1 a. M. A gun battle broke out. The homeowner was shot several times. And one of the suspects was killed. We talked to the general manager of a plumbing business that just bought that building. He was not involved but is now worried about retaliation. These people, they have families and friends and they see our vans in there because we we are doing the transition to move in, so they may think, you know, that person that shot him was affiliated with our company. Police say plumbing businesses are becoming common burglary targets because they contain valuable metals like copper and such. Three other suspects are in custody.
