Former CQUniversity Vice Chancellor Scott Bowman has taken on a new job – in Darwin.
Prof Bowman will move into his new role as vice-chancellor and president of the Charles Darwin University in May.
“It really is a great university in a unique part of the world,” he shared on social media.
“Retirement was good – but 18 months is more than enough for anyone.”
He took the Rockhampton-based role of vice-chancellor at CQUni in 2009 and was instrumental in making it one of the top regional universities in Australia.
After a short stint in retirement, Prof Bowman took on a six month contract in August last year as the senior deputy vice chancellor at Western Sydney University.
