I mean, talked about terrible, terrible. he s going to get beat up for that. i think we all know that reid cares a lot about kids. one of the things that s weird to me is now suddenly the republicans care so much about this particular program, yet the budget they voted for defunded a lot of the program. the ryan program actually defunds it was dana bash from cnn, not republicans who it was a bad question. why this anybody will say he handled the question well, but something that s been in the news recently, suddenly the republicans are the huge champions of veterans they have great names for the bills. honors or promise great branding, but if we want to honor our promise to our vet advance, why are we starting now, not a while ago? the ryan budget decent mates funding for veterans. you tell me why we haven t dealt with this in the past. ....
Pete from vet advance of america and tony schaeffer a retired army colonel and senior fellow at the advanced defense studies. and they say this is required because there s been some conduct issues at the top ranks and now what we really need is peer review, so, the folks who are not generals and admirals get to say, he s not a nice guy. he s not an ethical guy. he needs to go from four stars to three stars and so on. pete, your thoughts on this? well, the military faced a perception program. there haven t been more cases, just higher profile cases. perception is important at the officer class, but i don t know that the solution is giving, you know, captain hexa more input on what he thinks about general so-and-so. i want that general to see me as a tool on the battlefield to be used effectively to fight and win wars. i wonder what peer reviews ....
Independently and there s no way to live. none of us do that, all of us rely on a support system. what happens we get out and i don t know why, but seems like sometimes americans don t understand how veterans are or the military lingo, whatever else. so definitely i think we need to step in and to do what makes america great, we need to stand next to each other and be near each other for hard times. the same thing with vet advance, we have to get them and integrate them and care for them and bring them back into he society and let them know we re there. i think there are a couple of keys, number one, give nemthem job. they have ve sacrificed so muc give them a job and how much we appreciate them. we ve got to let these guys know.
