GAC Group achieves breakthrough: Graphene-based fast-charging technology is on the rise

The Aion S is also an electric vehicle from Chinese manufacturer Guangzhou Automobile Corporation.
GAC Group reports a success: its graphene-based super fast-charging battery is now in the vehicle testing phase. The Aion V - the first vehicle to be equipped with the battery - is scheduled for series production from September.
At the »2020 GAC Tech Day« in July, GAC Group presented its 3DG (three-dimensional graphene) production technology. With the simple yet efficient production process, costs can be reduced to about one-tenth of those of conventional graphene production processes. This also makes graphene-based battery technology economically attractive. ....

ZF s latest brake control system optimizes the recovery of braking energy and can increase the range of electric vehicles. It will be used in millions of vehicles of the Volkswagen Group s MEB platform. This includes including the ID.3 and the ID.4 model range, where it interacts with the EVâs battery and driveline.
ZF s brake control solution will be established as standard in Volkswagenâs ID.3 and ID.4 models as well as in the Groupâs globally marketed MEB modular e-drive system platform. The system optimizes the recovery of braking energy â thus increasing the range and everyday usability of e-vehicles. ....

Agnes Jahnke: X-Fab is a foundry group for analog and mixed-signal semiconductor technologies. We offer CMOS and SOI-on-silicon based technologies from 1.0 micron down to 0.13 micron.
