LYNDON – The husband-and-wife team behind the Nomadic Photo Ark, Adam Scher of Monica Frisell, have spent the past month photographing and interviewing a cross-section of Lyndon residents.
The library announced its newest lending service Tuesday.
Fletcher is known for its unusual collection of tools, toys and games in its Library of Things.
The Digital Provide for laptops takes it up a notch, strengthening the library s commitment to technology access that already includes public desktop computers, free scanning and Wi-Fi and affordable printing.
Highlights of the laptop program:
Limited to members in good standing, aged 18 or over.
Laptops are available on a first-come/first-served basis.
They come loaded with Microsoft Office software programs: Word, Excel, Powerpoint and OneNote.
A 4G mobile Wi-Fi hotspot device enables online work.
All data is deleted from the laptops when they are returned (users are encouraged to save work on a flash drive).
