Lembergs says OFAC s accusations have not resulted in any criminal charges against him

The grave accusations made by the U.S. Treasury Department s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) against Ventspils mayor Aivars Lembergs have not resulted in any new criminal charges against him in the past year, Lembergs said in a news conference referred LETA.
That means that there are no facts to press any charges, Lembergs said, adding that if there were any facts, authorities would not have missed the opportunity to prosecute him, but that has not happened over the past year.  ....
