Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha reviews School Education Department's functioning – India Education | Latest Education News | Global Educational News


 
SRINAGAR: With an aim to bring a paradigm shift in the school education ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha today called for constituting Educational Reforms Committee of Teachers at various levels for developing scientific temper in students, besides providing them with quality education.
The Lt Governor was chairing a review meeting of School Education Department here at Civil Secretariat.
The Lt Governor asked the School Education Department to identify High-Performer Teachers who shall work as a member of this Special Task Force.
This new initiative will develop a sense of empowerment amongst teachers; making them more responsible and accountable towards their duty, besides improving student’s enrolment and performance. The committee shall also aim towards integrating secular and democratic values in teachers as well as students, added the Lt Governor. ....

3-day online faculty development program on Training Needs Analysis hosted by SCERT J&K- Jammu concludes

The welcome address was presented by Joint Director, SCERT J&K Jammu Surinder Kumar. The program aimed at developing the knowledge and skills among the DIET faculty regarding the analysis of needs of the training process before conducting a training program, which may help in increasing employee’s involvement in their job and therefore increasing the job satisfaction and achieving the learning outcomes of any training programs. The program was a blend of theoretical and practical experiences involving discussions, resource lectures, interactive sessions, group activities, etc. Fifty officers from 10 DIETs of Jammu division, 5 from each attended this program.
