Mysuru Kannada Vedike activists staged a protest at Rajkumar Park, condemning governor Thaawarchand Gehlot’s decision to send back an ordinance that proposed augmenting the use of Kannada language on signboards.
The Chief Health Officer of the Palike, Siraj Ahmed Madani, specified, “The highest number of notices have been served in the Bommanahalli zone, with 6,732 establishments receiving notices. Dasarahalli received 1,458, East 5,279, and Mahadevapura 4,838.”
