Team leader, Aadya Sulochana Muliya, a class X student at Vivekananda English Medium School, was moved when her teacher wore a head scarf to conceal her baldness owing to chemotherapy when Ms. Muliya was studying in class V at Madikeri. ....

Named the group as ‘Seeds of Hope’, the team consists nine young students between class 10 to second PU. Aadhya Sulochana studying in 10th standard at Vivekananda English Medium School at Puttur started the team with an idea to start an initiative of donating hair for cancer patients. When Aadhya was in sixth standard, see saw her favourite teacher, who was a cancer patient, come to school, head covered with a scarf. This made Aadhya emotional and inspired her to donate her hair for cancer patients. She began to grow her hair so that in future she could donate it. At the time of lockdown, Aadhya donated her 10 to 12 inch hair for cancer patients to an organization. Late ....
