Louise Thomas was a 999 EMS call handler based in Cwmbran having joined the Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust in August 2019. Louise, from Cefn Hengoed, had a genetic condition and had recently been diagnosed with cancer for which she was receiving treatment. She died at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff on April 9. ....
