HUBBARD TOWNSHIP The victim of a deadly fire at Valley Mobile Home Park has been identified as 48-year-old Debra English, according to the Trumbull County Coroner’s office.
The coroner said English suffered a combination of smoke inhalation and thermal injuries when her mobile home caught fire Wednesday afternoon.
Neighbors said the fire spread quickly and in a short time, the entire mobile home was ablaze, trapping English inside. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but Eagle Joint Fire District Chief Ron Stanish said he believes the fire was electrical because it appears to have started near a space heater in the living room.
