You mentioned that people around the world wanted this day to be a day of giving, of helping others, and its interesting because a friend of Lauren Graham colis told me thats exactly what she would have wanted to do, to help and feed the homeless. Lauren was among the casualties of the september 11th attacks. The city she lived in, san rafael, built this memorial one year later.
