The women’s team of Kudu Rugby Club ‘Kudu Bokkies’ won their first game in the 2021 Namibia Rugby Unions (NRU) women’s league last Saturday in Okahandja.
The Kudu Bokkies beat a combined women’s team from the Okahandja Husky, s Rugby Club and Grootfontein Rugby Club 17 – 10.
The match started with jerks and bumps with many mistakes made but after the first try by Faisel-Lee Fjivava the players realized they can do it and then the match started flowing with two more tries from Tammy Lee Roodt and Kaurir-ronga Mungunda.
