　【カンヌ国際映画祭】正式出品作品である同作は、セリーヌ・ディオンをモデルにしたラブストーリー。1人の少女が世界的歌姫へと成長していく姿を描きながら、12歳のデビュー当時から密かに恋心を寄せてきたプロデューサーとの恋愛を、セリーヌの楽曲や、同時代の曲など、約30曲に乗せて描く。
　監督と脚本、主演を務めたのはヴァレリー・ルメルシエ。セリーヌの膨大な過去資料を丁寧に調べ上げ、ユーモアとフィクションを交えながら半生を忠実に再現した。
