Three on not guilty pleas on charges of arson and one for allegedly being a felon in possession of a firearm. 54yearold coy from Boulder Creek is accused of starting that fire two weeks ago that threatened hundreds of homes and destroyed two of them. Also damaging six more, as you said. Coy was already in jail accused of looting homes in the burned area when investigators linked him to the fire that caused an estimated 7 million in damage. Lets be honest, he lit a fire that caused an evacuation and burned 300plus acres. Thats not something that happens every day in this county. And its arson. Its not an accident. And the message should be that we are going to come after you if you do those sort of things in this county with all the resources that we have and were going do do everything we can to hold you accountable.
