nationwide. moore states are expanding eligibility every day. you can see in the numbers that the vaccine rollout is ready speeding up. the united states is averaging more than 2.3 million shots per day. with saturday marking the largest single day jump in vaccinations that we ve seen so far. nearly 70 million americans have now received at least one dose. more than 37 million americans are now fully vaccinated. that is more than 11% of the population. and while those numbers are great news and they really are, there is also real concern for the 89% of the rest of the population, if you will, as spring break travel is leading to scenes like this. large crowds packing beaches in florida and plane travel just hit a pandemic record despite the cdc still warning against it. we re going to wait to hear from the biden team on. that we re also standing about toy by to hear about that. a massive effort to try to tackle vaccine hesitancy that is still a really problem across the count

KANSAS CITY, Mo. â Almost 600 doses of COVID-19 vaccine went to waste in Douglas County, Kansas, due to a transfer error, Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health said Thursday.
LDCPH received and transferred 570 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine in a refrigerated state to LMH Health on Wednesday afternoon.
Vaccines are usually still frozen when they are transferred in such a manner, LDCPH said.
Because of this, LMH Health followed its typical procedure and placed the doses in a freezer before realizing theyâd already been thawed.
According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, nearly 4,000 doses of the vaccine have gone to waste in Georgia. That's 0.2% of the total number of doses shipped to the state.
