Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is reporting good news for residents of Renfrew County and District (RCD) in the fight against COVID-19 as residents of long-term care homes have been vaccinated.
To date, RCDHU in collaboration with partners have successfully completed COVID-19 vaccination clinics in all 10 LTC homes and provided first vaccinations to 908 people, according to a release issued Tuesday afternoon.

A vaccine task force is now in place for Grey Bruce.
The role of the task force is to provide feedback and support for The Grey Bruce Health Unit COVID-19 Vaccination Program Plan in Grey and Bruce.
The Vaccine Rollout Plan includes a mobile distribution of vaccines, bringing them to clinics with primary care, hospitals, and pharmacies and making them available through Immunization Hubs.
The goal is to prioritize and allocate the vaccine to different sectors.
