welcome back, joining us now with a look at axios am, editor and chief of axios, nicholas johnston. what s the one big thing today? destination fundraisers, just like the rest of us members of congress are thinking about what awesome vacation places do they want to go to during the summer months. we re picking up tons of information and data from a lot of reporters. big pac fundraisers starting to ramp up, they use the weekends or recesses to go to great vacation plays, wine country, marsha s vineyard, and noting this year, this is something that democrats have mostly stopped doing during the pandemic, leaving the field completely to republicans who continued much more of these in-person events. democrats are ramping that up again, playing a little bit of catch up for republicans to
