NEW DELHI: The Madhya Pradesh chief secretary informed the Election Commission (EC) on Tuesday that a preliminary inquiry had been registered by the state’s economic offences wing (EOW) according to a direction given by the poll panel last month seeking action against three IPS officers and one state police officer for their alleged role in unaccounted flow of cash during the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
