It was gathered that the suspect, a native of Nung Ikot Obio, in the Uruan local government area after killing his victim had gone ahead and buried her in a shallow grave in his father’s compound to cover his tracks. The victim (Miss Umoren) had reportedly gone for a “job interview” at an undisclosed location along Airport Road, in the outskirts of Uyo, the State capital on Thursday, April 29, 2021, without knowing it was a scam.

is vitiligo?
Vitiligo is a pigmentary autoimmune skin condition where the body abnormally destroys the normal skin cells that produce the melanin.
What are the causes?
There’s no precise cause of vitiligo. It’s not something one can be born with. It can spontaneously happen to anyone if he or she has a genetic make-up that favours the development of vitiligo. However, individuals with autoimmune conditions, like Type 1 diabetes and alopecia areata, have a higher risk of developing vitiligo. These conditions tend to occur when the body abnormally sees its normal cells and tissues as a foreign body and activates the fighting cells in the body to attack them, leading to their destruction.
