A slow-moving snowstorm blanketed much of southwestern Utah late Monday, accumulating even in and around parts of St. George and forcing a temporary closure of major roadways like Interstate 15 and State Route 9 through Zion National Park.
More than a foot of snow was reported in New Harmony, with 10 inches in Dammeron Valley and 10 inches in Enterprise. Even Hurricane saw 2 inches and at least 1 inch was reported in parts of St. George, according to the National Weather Service office in Salt Lake City.
