19 people have been killed in a rail derailment. Another 50 are injured. The Hazara Express came off the rails near nawabshah in sindh province, as it travelled from karachi to abbottabad. Emergency workers are battling to rescue passengers trapped in at least five overturned carriages with more rescue teams deployed to the scene. An emergency has been declared in nearby hospitals including this one in nawabshah where casualties have been arriving. The Information Minister of sindh gave us more details about the crash.
