Miles. The only good thing about it is that number one we are in the middle of the day. This is not a heavy commute time. Streets dont appear to be slick with rain. That is the case this morning. With more than a couple of miles of backup, there is an awful lot of heavy traffic on 580 eastbound leading up to that crash at the exit. So keep that in mind if you are making your way around the east bay, hopefully this will be cleaned up but for the beginning of the afternoon commute. We did have the first rain of the season this morning right here in the bay area. While it was a welcome other sight for some, it created a lot of traffic headaches.
