VOV.VN - The country attended an international workshop on May 18 hosted by the Eurasian Peoples Assembly (APE) along with representatives from over 20 countries, international and regional organisations.

The event was held both in-person and through an online format, with proposals being put forward regarding the building of a more sustainable food security. This is in addition to prepared content of an agenda ahead of the 2021 UN Food System Summit which is scheduled to be held this September.
During her speech Vietnamese Chargé d Affaires to Russia Nguyen Quynh Mai reiterated the urgent necessity of ensuring food security, outlining that food wastefulness may lead to a reduction in food supply and contribute to worsening hunger amid the global spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. ....
