Palm Coast, FL – A  man who identified himself as Micky E. Smith during a traffic stop is now in the Flagler County Jail after being identified as 52-year-old Ricky Smith through the use of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) Rapid ID. Smith was one of two male passengers in the vehicle that was stopped on N. Ocean Shore Blvd at Bay Drive just after midnight Friday (May 14) morning. The female driver told deputies that she wasn’t from the area and didn’t know the speed limit. The deputy asked for I.D. from the two men. The one in the back seat provided his I.D. The one in the front seat identified himself as Micky E. Smith, with the same birthdate as Ricky Smith. The deputy checked Smith’s information with Flagler County Communications. They advised that there was a Volusia County warrant with the same date of birth that used the alias Micky E. Smith. The warrant was for Ricky Smith and an I.D. picture was forwarded to the deputy ....

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) - A Charlotte County man is in jail after deputies say he left behind his phone at the scene of a car burglary.
The incident occurred in the early morning hours of Jan. 31. A newspaper delivery man noticed a man in the driver’s seat of a car in a driveway. The witness stated he observed the male quickly exit the vehicle closing the driver’s door then run on foot behind the house. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the homeowner who confirmed that her car was unlocked. Nothing was stolen. ....
