Acting Ch Insp Pete Dearden condemned people flouting Tier 4 rules after a house party breach in Islington.

Police were called to a house party in Islington and issued a fine for the breach of tier 4 rules. 
On December 27,  officers arrived outside an address at Highbury Quadrant where loud music was being played. 
They believed a party, attended by more than 15 people, was taking place at the residence. 
While the occupants refused to engage with officers a woman left the address and was issued an fixed penalty notice.
Acting Ch Insp Pete Dearden, from the Met s Central North Basic Command Unit, said: Thousands of people in London were not allowed to see their loved ones over the Christmas period as the spread of Covid-19 has happened so quickly – partly due to people flagrantly ignoring the rules and attending house parties and accelerating the spread of th ....

POLICE are warning Brits to obey Tier 4 rules as they released a video showing officers confronting flouters just days after the new restrictions came into force.
A string of videos were released by the Met Police today showing Brits being warned they were at risk of £10,000 fines for breaking the rules in the lead up to Christmas.

One party organiser has been considered for a £10,000  fine.
In just one clip, Met officers are seen attending a house party on Holmwood Road, in Essex that was breaching the rules. ....

Police break up unlicensed music events - MPS Wandsworth
Wandsworth police shut down two illegal raves as London was placed into Tier 4 over the weekend.
Officers were first called to reports of an unlicensed music event at Montserrat Road in Putney, shortly after 10.30 pm on Saturday ( December 19).
Police arrived to the scene and dispersed a large group of people from a building - It was reported that missiles were thrown at officers. 
Met Police confirmed that a Section 35 dispersal order was put in place until 11.40pm.
In the early hours of Sunday, December 20, officers were called by British Transport Police (BTP) about a rave near a train station. ....
