The Central College softball team earned its second straight series victory this weekend, winning a pair of games against the University of Dubuque on Saturday, then dropping the finale yesterday afternoon. In Saturday’s doubleheader, heard live on 92.1 KRLS, the Dutch snuck out a pair of one run victories, 1-0 and 3-2.  Carson Fisk scored on a throwing error in the opener, and that run was enough to back the nine strikeout complete game shutout from sophomore ace Syndi Huisman.  Central fell behind 2-0 in the first inning of the nightcap, but scored all three runs in the fourth inning, two on another costly Dubuque error, and the winning run on a double steal of second and home.
