CEBU CITY – More than 3,000 senior citizens here have already received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Dr. Jeffrey Ibones, chief of the Cebu City Health Department, said at least 19,000 senior citizens have registered and 10,000 of them have agreed to be inoculated.
This city opened Thursday its third COVID vaccination site, the SM Seaside City-Cebu. The other vaccination sites are at the Robinsons Galleria and University of Cebu Banilad Campus.
Ibones said the city has already used 3,000 doses of its 5,000 doses of CoronaVac vaccine.
Ibones said the city is looking to vaccinate more senior citizens, the reason why it opened a third vaccination site at SM Seaside.
