RICHMOND, Ind. Guy Victor Bordo has announced his upcoming 25th season as Richmond Symphony Orchestra conductor will be his last. After so many seasons, I have realized that it is time to plan the next chapter in my life which involves family and other interests, Bordo said in a news release. The number of great memories and the many wonderful friends Deb and I have made in Richmond will stay with us always.
Bordo s 25th season coincides with the RSO s 65th season. Six shows are currently planned for RSO s return to Civic Hall after more than a year away because of COVID-19. Concerts are planned for Sept. 18, Oct. 23, Dec. 5, Jan. 29, March 5 and April 9 despite lingering uncertainty caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
