Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi appoints new CEO

(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi on Monday announced the appointment of a new chief executive officer, Jorge A. Guzman, MD, MBA, effective March 31, 2021.
Dr Guzman has served as Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi s Chief of Staff since 2017. During that time, he has overseen physician recruitment and clinical operations for the 400-bed hospital, an integral part of Mubadala Health. Dr Guzman is a staff physician in the hospital s Critical Care Institute treating patients in Abu Dhabi, and a staff physician in Cleveland Clinic s Critical Care department in Ohio.
Previously, Dr Guzman served as vice-president of Regional Hospital Medical Operations in Cleveland. He was director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit at main campus and director of Intensive Care Unit Operations for the Cleveland Clinic health system. He was appointed to Cleveland Clinic in the US in 2007. ....

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi has appointed Jorge A Guzman, MD, MBA, as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective March 31, 2021.

Dr Guzman has served as Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Chief of Staff since 2017. During that time, he has overseen physician recruitment and clinical operations for the 400-bed hospital, an integral part of Mubadala Health.

Company announces four new roles and responsibilities

Four Vita Plus employee owners will take on new roles and responsibilities within the company. The strategic changes will position Vita Plus for continued growth and success as it provides feed, nutrition, and management expertise to dairy and livestock producers. In addition, Alan Gunderson will retire from his role as Vita Plus vice president of sales and marketing.
Dr Silvia Onetti will serve as vice president of technical services. She earned her bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, Argentina. After graduation, she worked as a research assistant in dairy nutrition at the National Institute of Agricultural Research in Argentina. She continued her education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned a Ph.D. in dairy science. Onetti has been a Vita Plus employee owner for 15 years.
