Nagaland: CANSSEA team attends AISGEF meeting in Mumbai

Dimapur, Nov. 7 (EMN): A three-member team of Confederation of All Nagaland State Service Employees Association (CANSSEA) led by its president Dr. Ilang, attended the All India State Government Employees Federation (AISGEF) National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held at Sukkur Bhavan, Mumbai on November 4 and 5. The meeting was attended by employees’ federations of 29 state governments from all over India where the representatives participated in a marathon meeting for two consecutive days on urgent and important matters concerning employees’ welfare issues faced by its members working under various state governments, a DIPR report stated. Considering the various issues confronting and looking at the overall plight and situation of the state government employees in the country, it was collectively decided in the NEC meeting to go on an agitation on seven-point charter of demand.
