news in new york city, where a teenager arrested for the fatal stabbing of a gay man has been charged with murder and a hate crime. the suspect turned himself in to police on friday he s accused of killing 28-year-old o shea sibley after using homophobic and racist slurs while sibley was dancing at a brooklyn gas station. now, to a frightening scene in idaho, where 11 teenagers have been hospitalized, including seven of them critically, after a terrifying summer camp bus crash. jesse kirsch has the latest. reporter: tonight, investigators are trying to figure out how a summer camp bus ride ended like this the school bus is turned over in both lanes of travel. reporter: along a winding idaho state highway, first responders racing to a school bus that state police say rolled over with roughly 30 people on board, including children ages 13 to 18. we have multiple units en route, multiple ambulances
caused this bus carrying children to overturn on an idaho highway. the school bus is turned over in both lanes of travel. possibly 30 injured. we have multiple units en route and multiple ambulances. reporter: the crash happening friday afternoon. around 30 teens and staff members on their way home from a ymca camp. maren ericson among those jumping in to help before first responders arrived. so many people passing out band-aids and gauze. many of the kids were having anxiety and panic attacks. and so i counted their breathing with them. reporter: police say 11 were hurt, 7 with critical injuries, but all of the children on board taken to area hospitals as a precaution. this particular incident, we saw a lot of fractures, so broken bones. scrapes and bumps, yes, but most of these children had lost consciousness, so we had to make sure they didn t have any brain injury. reporter: the damaged bus seen here as a tow truck removes it from the accident scene. the crash blocking
