The No. 24 Penn State women's soccer program wraps up the regular season on the road this week, traveling to Nebraska on Thursday, Oct. 20 and Iowa on Sunday, Oct.
CLEMSON, S.C. – Junior defender Megan Bornkamp was named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List on Thursday by United Soccer Coaches. In addition, Bornkamp was recognized to the 2022 Preseason All-ACC Team and United Soccer Coaches Players to Watch List last week. Bornkamp led the Tigers in goals (10) and points (30) last season. The defender is incredibly efficient on set pieces, coming up to attack. Her performance throughout the season earned many recognitions. The two-time All American was named First-Team All ACC along with United Soccer Coaches First-Team All-Atlantic Region, ACC All-Tournament team, preseason All-ACC, All-ACC Academic Team and CoSIDA Academic All-District in 2021. Bornkamp will lead the Tigers’ backline and will look to have another impressive season in the 2022 campaign.
