Conservationists from Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch spotted a 10ft-long swordfish five miles off the Isle of Man on Saturday. It is believed there have only ever been five sightings of the fish in the British Isles.
The seven years from 2015 to 2021 have also been the warmest since the industrial revolution, with 2016 being the warmest year on record, the World Meteorological Organization report said.
