Senator Rochas Okorocha has attributed the nation’s ongoing security and economic problems to what he described as “injustice and failed family system.”
The former governor of Imo State, who noted that the development was fueled by indifference to the role of women in nation building by politicians, insisted that for Nigeria to navigate its way out of the challenges, women must not only be empowered but also carried along in governance and policy making.
According to the Senator representing Imo West, the collapse of family values and system gave rise to insurgency, banditry and youths restiveness, adding that a safe and prosperous society begins with the home. ....
