On Saturday, as Kentucky reported 49 more COVID-19-related deaths, teachers throughout the Northern Kentucky area rolled up their sleeves to get their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Staff from St. Elizabeth Healthcare administered the Pfizer vaccines to teachers, who said they hope their opportunity to be vaccinated will not only help keep them safe, but will improve things for kids in Kentucky.
I just think that being back in the classroom will benefit them not only academically but socially, emotionally, mentally, said Stephanie Schmidt, principal at Union Pointe Academy. ....

LONGMONT As younger Americans working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic seek larger, less-expensive places to live, they’re looking farther away from the city cores that have historically attracted certain demographics, and Longmont may be one such suburb poised to draw its share of these urban migrants.
Apartment-listing platform RentCafe ranked the Boulder County city of nearly 100,000 residents one of the nation’s
“Top Booming Suburbs for Renters” and the most booming in Colorado based on the number of new multifamily housing options added over the last five years.

MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 6, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Centerspace (NYSE: CSR) announced today that it has acquired Union Pointe Apartment Homes in Longmont, Colorado, for an aggregate purchase price of $76.9 million. Constructed in 2019, Union Pointe consists of 256 homes on 13 acres in the rapidly growing city of Longmont with convenient access to Boulder and Denver. As of January 5, 2021, Union Pointe was 94% occupied with average rents of $1,582 per month.
Centerspace also issued $50 million of 2.7% unsecured Series C Notes due June 6, 2030, with Prudential Private Capital. In concert with the issuance, Centerspace amended and expanded its Note Purchase Private Shelf Agreement (the Agreement ) with Prudential to increase the aggregate amount available under the Agreement from $150 million to $225 million.
