Newark native needs help documenting local sculptures for state database
ZANESVILLE - Several Muskingum County sculptures, including one of a Union Army soldier erected in 1924, are noted in the Ohio Outdoor Sculpture database, but so many more throughout the area are undocumented. 
It’s Newark native Zach Baker’s job to update the database for the region, including Coshocton, Guernsey, Holmes, Knox, Muskingum and Tuscarawas counties.
The library and information science major at Kent State is set to graduate next weekend but still plans to keep at the project in partnership with Cleveland State University. 
“I’m still working on it. Even though my semester is over, I’m planning on staying over because there is a lot to do in Zanesville,” Baker said.  ....
