Twitter users have noticed a wave of accounts easily being able to impersonate celebrities by changing the name on their account and paying to get a blue tick next to it.
The controversial plan, leaked by Twitter employees at the weekend, will force users to pay $20 a month to have a blue tick next to their account name.
While some users welcome the Edit Button as a way to fix spelling errors in tweets, others fear it will let people change the message after it goes viral.
Edit Button is now appearing for Twitter Blue users in three countries - Canada, Australia and New Zealand - letting them fix typos and make corrections.
