Jun 3, 2021 Scott Bernstein Free concerts will be hosted in Atlantic City by Showboat Resort & Convention Hall and Lucky Snake each Thursday evening this summer between July 8 – August 26. Guitarist Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, singer-songwriter Sierra Ferrell and jam-fusion duo Soule Monde are among the acts headlining shows at the Garden Pier at Showboat as part of the AC Jams summer concert series. AC Jams begins with Little Stranger and Dry Reef on July 8. Then, Taz headlines a show featuring support from Annie in the Water on July 15 before The Joe Cirotti Trio opens for Sierra Ferrell on July 22. Advertisement Nick Perri and The Underground Thieves end a night that also includes performances from GA-20 and Fungkshui on August 19. The AC Jams summer concert series is currently slated to come to a close with Roots of Creation to headline and On The Spot Trio as support on August 26. ....

AC Jams, a new free, all-ages concert series at the Showboat Hotel and Resort s Garden Pier, will bring live music and food trucks to the city s waterfront at 6 p.m. every Thursday from mid-July through late August. What were once drive-ins are now walk-ons. Berglund Center combined with Charlotte, North Carolina-based concert promoter MaxxMusic this spring to put on a series of drive-in shows on the venueâs parking lot. When soul-rocker Grace Potter hits the stage on Thursday for the third in the series, she will mark a change in the way theyâre done. No more drive-in shows from here on. The remaining events will be pod-style, socially distanced ones. The change came in part because of evolving COVID-19 regulations about gatherings, MaxxMusic president Gregg McCraw said. But audience â and potential audience â feedback about accessibility and ticket prices further drove home the need, McCraw said in a Tuesday phone call from Charlotte. ....
