there s been improvement if you recall after the earthquake. 1.5 million haitians were homeless, living in tent cities. just the amount of money put through from u.s. aid, $3.2 billion the monies promised around the world. i will say that is a u.n. number. i m not sure it was earmarked. so i m not sure how much ever made to it haiti. it s a series of unaccountability. you have 10,000 ngos operating in haiti. there s a lot of mismanagement of the money. some deliberately, some not. we have a ways to go. neil: do you ever as a prominent african american in your own right and you hear the comments that are raised about the president, martin luther king iii saying the president deliberately chose a country like norway that he liked because he likes white people
according to press reports, apparently he paid $52,000. but come on now, i mean, the guy has been flying around at the expense of the american people from washington to philadelphia when he could have taken the amtrak train and gotten there probably faster. come on now. there s something wrong with this picture, and at some point the american people and the through their kocongress people have to speak up and fight against this, because basically like i said, we re in a culture now of unaccountability. there s no accountability whatsoever. and i think the president knows this. the more important thing is that while all of that is happening, the people s business is not being done. they rushed away from the affordable care act straight to try to do this tax cut deal, and
then you had the met a, you know, the sort of glen green wald, the wikileaks, thatter ra, the sort of snow den sort of met a. i don t know if they re left or right that said the same thing, we have to fight the deep state. now it has become kind of a toe tell me of what used to be the conservative, the right. what do you make of that migration. well, i think the migration that s happened here, particularly on this alt right section of our politics is one that they always feed on the classic, you know, hof steter paranoid style of american politics. there s always sort of an under ping in our culture, our society of concern about unaccountability in government. and the fact that it s moved over to the right tells you a lot. and the fact that they believe the deep state opposes trump for all these ba rocky conspiracy theories, whether it s the international jewish conspiracy, which is always right under the surface of all these things. yep. in fact, on the cover of the mcmaster web

i don t know what the problem is with this at all. all i know is we have a teamworking extremely hard to get all the e-mails out as soon as possible. i can t wait until that happens, i m sure hillary can t, either and i m sure it will be cleared up with the final release as we get that done. but we re working very hard to get that done as fast as humanly possible. alex we know hillary clinton has an event in new york. i m not sure she s going to comment further on this. that s the problem, even if this is much ado about nothing, there s no doubt it is a distraction. this speech today on wall street, on what she would do to rein in corporate unaccountability, she wants this to be the focus. she doesn t want to talk about her e-mails or it will not be a good day for hillary clinton. up next an update on the
