PEC says can help produce electricity at Rs3 per unit July 18, 2021 MULTAN: Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has offered the government a helping hand to produce cheapest electricity within the present infrastructure and resources with a roadmap to enhance the production of energy in the country. Speaking at the PEC August 8 election campaign rally organized by the Wapda NTDC Employees Association here, PEC chairman Javed Saleem Qureshi said if the government joins PEC in its policies, even today they can provide electricity @Rs 3 per unit. He said PEC engineers have made a ventilator to counter Corona at a cost of $ 4,000 which was earlier prepared @$70,000. The government can save billions of rupees by including PEC engineers in the China Pakistan Economic Corridor, he said. He said the PEC leadership has provided jobs to 18,000 engineers and today the largest building in Islamabad is ready for the facilities of engineers. ....
