The apartment is the costliest in the lottery. In compliance with the MHADA Act, 2 percent of the total homes sold in the lottery were reserved for MPs and MLAs.
The apartments are priced in the range of Rs 24 lakh to Rs 7.57 crore, with the cheapest apartment being in Chandivali, near Powai, and the costliest in Tardeo, South Mumbai.
According to MHADA, it has received 1.22 lakh applications in total, but over 14,000 applications are put on hold as they are under scrutiny. Those whose applications have been rejected can submit their grievances up to July 19, 2023.
