State Rural Development Ministry (KPLB) delegates who recently visited Kg Orang Asli Tibang in Perak are urged to apply what they have learned during the visit to eradicate poverty in Sabah’s rural areas.
In making the call, its Minister Datuk Jahid Jahim said the purpose of the visit was for staff and district officers to see the solar power project by Petronas implemented in the village located in Ulu Slim, Perak.
“The village has zero electricity supply, it is completely dependent on generators. With solar lighting technology like this, it can at least help to supply electricity to every home.
