A Beaver Dam man was sentenced to life in prison Monday for murdering his ex-wife. On March 2019, 33-year-old Ulisses Medina Espinosa entered a residence in Beaver Dam as Stacia Hollinshead and the couple’s five-year-old child were visiting Medina’s parents. Officials said the man shot Hollinshead 19 times in front of their child. Medina Espinosa pleaded guilty to first-degree intentional homicide in December. The man claimed he was mentally unstable and had a “perceived need to defend himself at the time of the shooting,” according to Dodge County District Attorney Kurt Klomberg’s office. ....
