Teixeira, 31, is now unattached after leaving Chinese club Jiangsu Suning earlier this month. He joined the Far East outfit in February 2016 after Liverpool pulled out of a deal to sign him the previous month. It emerged last summer that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp was Teixeira enjoyed his spell in the Chinese Super League, scoring 73 goals from 153 appearances. But it was his assist numbers that caught the eye, with 43 for the current Chinese champions. ....
